Contact Sheet For Aquinas Magazine

The reason I have chosen the photos with the blue ticks is because these are suitable for my college magazine front cover. The lighting is perfect so you can see clearly who/what is in the photo, the position of the person is appropriate and looks professional, the backdrop of the photo blends in with the models clothing and therefore brings attention to the person on the front cover rather than what is happening in the background.

The reason I haven't chose those with the red crosses is because they are not suitable for my college magazine front cover. They're either; on an unsuitable background, for example, picture 8 has posters in the background which may distract the readers attention from the main focus of the magazine. Photos 4 and 5 are on a red background which doesn't fit in with the magazines house style, also red is a very warm colour and therefore may also take the readers attention away from the main image. And finally I haven't chose picture 9 as a suitable image for the front cover just simply because the lightning is far too dark.
